I met Mable while she was a resident at Harrisonburg Health & Rehabilitation Center during our church\'s ministry to nursing homes. Mable was always there with a ready smile on her face and happy to see us arrive. She was such an inspiration to me as I took the roster of residents being wheeled in for the service. We chatted about her day, and she sincerely loved the Lord. My heart is saddened with her passing, and I will miss her very much when I do not see her sweet face among the group. But I realize her smiles are being shared with many more saints in Heaven, where she is free from bruises, aches and pains. Mable was very much loved and returned love to others. Her life in the nursing home is a courageous testimony to all who knew her and challenges the rest of us to bear our burdens with patience and the love of the Lord to help us. I am thankful to have known Mable Armentrout.
