Louie Wayne Dennis

Louie Wayne Dennis, 57, of 2139 Tunnel Hill Road, Millboro, Va., died Friday, Aug. 1, 2008, at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, Va.

He was born Feb. 8, 1951, in Nashville, Tenn., the son of Louie P. Dennis and Francis Davis Dennis. He was married to Amy Elizabeth Dennis, whom he married on July 10, 2000.

Mr. Dennis was retired from Reynolds Metals in Grottoes, Va. He was a member of the Living Stones Ministries in Clifton Forge.

He is survived by his mother, Francis Davis Dennis of Richmond, Va.; his wife, Amy Elizabeth Dennis of Millboro; two daughters, Lee Dennis of Elkton, Va. and Tammy Dennis of Shenandoah, Va.; a brother, Richard Dennis of Japan; two sisters, Mary Elliot and husband, Don, of Richmond, and Kay Morris and husband, Wayne, of Bridgewater, Va.; two stepchildren, Sarah Hupp of Roanoke, Va., and Creg Ryan Hupp of Millboro; three grandchildren, Kassie Dennis, Savana Mullins and Jade Mullins; and his former wife, Goldie Dennis of Shenandoah, Va.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008, at the Living Stones Ministries with Pastor Mike Rollins officiating. Interment will be in the Windy Cove Cemetery in Millboro. Pallbearers will be Rodney Crawford, Joey and Joshua Morris, Ryan Hupp, Alex Arnold, and Phillip and Daryn Dennis.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to services from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the church.

There will be a memorial service held locally at Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton, Va. at 7:00 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8, 2008.

Memorial contributions may be made to Living Stones Ministries, 200 Griffith Road, Clifton Forge, VA 24422.

Local arrangements are being made by Kyger Funeral Home.

sending my deepst sympathy to louies family. louie was a fellow co- worker. he was a hard worker . but he had time to make you laugh when you was having a bad day. we had some good times together. he will truely be miss. rest in peace buddy and see you on the other side.
