Karla Faye Dove, 45, of Harrisonburg, died Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008, in Harrisonburg.

Ms. Dove was born Nov. 27, 1962, in Prince Georges County, Md., and was a daughter of Robert Lee and Nancy Dove of Timberville and Julia Virginia Shifflett Dove of Harrisonburg.

She was an accountant for Valley Kawasaki in Harrisonburg for many years. She graduated from National Business College with a degree in business.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a son, Charles Scott Sisson of Anaheim, Calif.; a brother, Dwight Anthony “Tony” Dove of Anaheim, Calif.; and two sisters, Sandra Lee Balas of Lacey Spring and Tina Louise Dove of Port Republic.

The Rev. Robbie Miller will conduct a memorial service 7 p.m. Monday at the Kyger Funeral Home in Harrisonburg, where the family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Monday and also following the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Harrisonburg Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 1477, Harrisonburg, VA 22803.

	We are so sorry to hear of Karla's passing. It is very hard to remember the LORD has a plan for all and we do not always understand.May you and your family find comfort in knowing you will all be together someday on God's golden shores.

	Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, she became a butterfly.....    My family and I wish to thank all of you who took the the time to post your thoughts and wishes here. It is wonderful, but, not surprising, to know that Karla is loved by so many.     We are sure she is smiling her wonderful smile, ear to ear.     God Bless
