Judith “Judy” Ann Dean, 65, of Elkton, died Sunday, May 11, 2008, at her home following an extended illness.
Mrs. Dean was born Oct. 13, 1942, in Page County, and was the daughter of Edna Good Breeden of Shenandoah and the late Harry Breeden.
She graduated from Page County High School. She owned and operated Judy’s Flowers & Gifts in Elkton for many years and did a lot of craft shows around the area. She was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church in the Fleeburg area and also attended the Upper Room Church in Elkton and the Assembly of God in Shenandoah.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, William “Sonny” Dean, whom she married May 14, 1962; a son, Billy Dean of Elkton; a daughter, Angie Anderson of Lenoir, N.C.; a brother, Ronnie Breeden of Shenandoah; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Barbara Hensley and Pastor Carter Dean will conduct the funeral 2 p.m. Thursday at the Upper Room Church in Elkton. Burial will follow at Elk Run Cemetery in Elkton.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Upper Room Church or at the Dean home at any time.
