Jesse Lee Wilburn, 48, of Harrisonburg, died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg.

Mr. Wilburn was born Nov. 15, 1959, in Prince Georges County, Md., and was a son of Lucille Mae Ellison Wilburn and the late Leroy Wilburn.

He lived in the area most of his life and was a roofing contractor with Garland Roofing.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers, Larry Wilburn of Dayton and Charles Bailey of Seabrook, Md.; four sisters, Carolyn Thompson and Linda Mowbray of Penn Laird, Brenda Seifried of Singers Glen, and Vicki Hornbuckle of Nacogdoches, Texas; and a number of nieces and nephews.

There will be a public viewing from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Kyger Funeral Home in Harrisonburg. According to Mr. Wilburn’s wishes, his body will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
