To the family of James Shifflett Jr.
I send my sincere regrets for the tragic loss of a son, husband, brother and father. God is the only one that truely knows the reason why a life was taken so soon and so tragically. One day we will all come to know reasoning for such things. I pray that the healing of the loss will come quickly and that life will go on knowing that no matter what God is in control of all that is good.
Your friend in Jesus,
Roger Newman

To the Shifflett Family.
My name is Bob Privott, James and I were at MTC together in High School, I am so very sorry to hear about your loss. He always carried himself in a godly manner. James will forever be with god. My son Matt passed away on July 30 tragicly at our home in Bridgewater. There is nothing that I can say to lessen your burden. But know That James and Matt are in the hands of Jesus. Dont be afraid to ask why? The book of Palsams is a great place to start for answers. God Bless
