Dorman Harold Hensley, 65, of Harrisonburg, died Friday, June 27, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Hensley was born April 24, 1943, in McGaheysville, and was the son of Eula Eppard Hensley of Harrisonburg and the late Harold Stephen Hensley.

He graduated from Montevideo High School and retired from Shickle Machine Shop, where he was a machinist. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and the AARP.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

Pastors Wayne Wright and Gerald Meeks will conduct the funeral 2 p.m. Monday at the Kyger Funeral Home in Harrisonburg. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in McGaheysville.

	As a classmate of Dorman's for many years, I was honored to be his friend. I know that he will be missed in so many ways. My heartfelt condolences go to all his family, friends and classmates of Montivedeo High.

	I am so sorry to hear of his death. He will be missed. My mom dated him for a few years and he was like a dad that I never had. He will be missed by me in so many ways. My heart and prayers go out to all his family and friends that knew him.
