Nancy - I'm very sad to hear about your loss. Our thoughts and wishes go out to you and your family. Dan always had a cheerful greeting when I spoke to him at the Farm Bureau and was always full of funny stories about the grandkids. I know he and Dad were very good friends and he will be greatly missed by all.

Nancy, I am so sorry for your loss. Sam called me this morning with the news. It was an honor to work with Dan. I always enjoyed his straight forward personality. I know Kortney will be very sad as well. She took to Dan the first time they met. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you. All my love and prayers.

Mrs. Voorhees and family: Iwas sorry to read of Dan's passing. I worked with him for many years at the post office, and I would run into him after his retirement. He was easy to get along with, and he'll be missed.
May God comfort you.

Mrs. Vorhees (Nancy), It was so good to see you at Mrs. Dean's birthday get-together. I am so sorry for your loss. I never knew Mr. Vorhees, but I am certain he was as special as you are. Just know I am keeping you in my prayers during this time, and I wish for you an extra measure of God's grace and peace.

To Dan's family and brother John.
I was sad to read about Dan's passing, When I was growing up in Harrisonburg and working for Dan's Dad ( Happy ) I saw a lot of both he and John. They were kind of like brothers to me. I always think of to good times we had together at " Three Ring Grocery"

God Bless !

Nancy,
I was sorry to see Dan's obituary in the paper today. I remember him as such a hard worker in therapy who always tried to have a positive attitude. I was glad to see that he was able to be at home for his last days. I also pray you will be sustained and strengthened by your faith and your family and friends as you greive his loss.

Dear Nancy:
So sorry to read about your husband's passing in today's DNR. Just wanted you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all. I am not looking at obit at this moment, as am at work (Voter Registration) and paper has not arrived. (It just arrived!) Tomorrow I have a morning obligation, so will not be able to attend service at Emanuel E C.
Do want you to know that one of these days plan to 'connect' with you about DAR etc. Noticed that your maiden name is same as my Mayflower ancestor-Stephen Hopkins! We might be related!!!

Lots of Love,
