Grace Pauline Hitt Foltz, 103, of Stanley, passed away July 21, 2010, at Page Memorial Hospital in Luray.
Mrs. Foltz was born April 7, 1907, in Newport to the late John W. and Maggie Blanche (Bumgardner) Hitt.
She was a member of the Newport Church of the Brethren. She was a homemaker and had previously been employed by Mimslyn Hotel for a number of years.
Her husband, Nelson M. Foltz, preceded her in death on Sept. 28, 1983. Mrs. Foltz is survived by a son, Kenneth W. Foltz of Stanley; daughters, Hilda Price of Stanley, Retha Morris and Shelby Jarrell, both of Shenandoah; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mildred Smith.
The Rev. Leroy Hulvey will conduct a graveside service 11 a.m. Saturday, July 24, 2010, at the Newport Cemetery in Page County.
Mrs. Foltz is at the Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton where friends may call from noon until 5 p.m. on Friday.
