Ruth Etta Triplett, 80, of Shenandoah, passed away July 4, 2010, at the home of her daughter at 700 Comertown Road in Shenandoa h.
Mrs. Triplett was born on Aug. 7, 1929, in Winchester, Va., and was the daughter of the late Malon Homes and Cora Julia Triplett.
Ruth was employed at Rockingham Memorial Hospital, where she worked in the cafeteria until her retirement in 1996 after 26 years. She also attended the Shenandoah Assembly of God Church in Shenandoah.
Ruth is survived by two daughters, Anna Marie Parker and husband, Thomas, of Wardensville, W.Va., and Linda Vance Breeden of Shenandoah; three granddaughters, Shirley Marie Swecker and husband, Charles, Angel Virginia Parker and companion, Craig Schellhammer, and DeAnna Yuvon Parker; three great-grandchildren, Abbie Nicole Schellhammer, Jake Steven Schellhammer and Vance Ray Schellhammer; and numerous nephews.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at Mount View United Methodist Cemetery in Mountain Falls, Va.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Shenandoah Assembly of God Church in Shenandoah, Va.
