Joseph Wayne Lam, 41, of Elkton, passed away June 25, 2010, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Lam was born March 14, 1969, in Harrisonburg, and was the son of Joseph Henry Lam of Elkton and the late LeAnna Conley Lam.
He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Besides his father, Mr. Lam is survived by his wife, Shellana (Shelly) Bruce Lam; sons, Tyler W. Lam and Joseph R. Lam, both of Shenandoah; stepson, Joshua Bruce of Waynesboro; stepdaughter, Alora Johnson of Harrisonburg; a brother, Anthony Lam and friend, Chrystal Allen of Elkton; sisters, Kathy Shifflett, Lisa Gammons and husband, Jeff, Janet Shifflett and husband, Roscoe, all of Elkton; one grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
The Rev. Homer Frazier and Ronald Spencer will conduct the funeral service 11 a.m. Thursday, July 1, 2010, at the Full Gospel Lighthouse Tabernacle near Elkton. Burial will follow at Elk Run Cemetery in Elkton.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton.
