Thinking of you
Dear Mrs. Anderson,
I was saddened to hear of your loss. I remember Dr.
Anderson not only for his teaching in the classroom but also for his impact out
of the classroom. During my junior year at GCC, I faced some challenging health
issues. He was so compassionate and he pointed me to Christ, reminding me to
put my faith in Him. I've never forgotten that lesson.

Please know my
thoughts and prayers are with you.

Deepest sympathies from a former student at GCC
Dear Dottie and family,

I have fond memories of Bill as he taught me some of my
advanced accounting courses during my junior and senior years at GCC. And
although many of his lessons occurred via book, blackboard, and pen, his most
valuable lessons were taught by the example of his Faith to others. He was a
very devout man and truly lived his Christian Faith. He was a great witness to
the Love of Christ and will be surely missed. May his soul rest in Peace. And
may the arms of the Lord hold you and yours today... and always.

His
Peace.

Mrs. Anderson
I was very sorry to read about Bill's passing in the recent Virginia Tech
magazine. I had Bill for a Principles of Accounting class when he was in the
PhD program at Tech. He and I later became friends. My memory of him is that
he was a very astute accounting technician, and was a very, very fine gentleman.
I definitely enjoyed his friendship while at Tech. My heart goes out to you
and your family. All my best, Al Carpenter
