Nellie Irena Good Meadows went to be with the Lord on Friday April 9, 2010 at the home of her daughter in Bealeton, Virginia.
Mrs. Meadows was born May 21, 1931 in Rockingham County to the late Wilmer Jasper and Addie Breeden Good.
She was raised in the Greenwood area near Elkton and attended the Bethel United Church of Christ. She was employed for various years but was more active in her role as a homemaker.
On August 27, 1946, she married Simeon Eugene Meadows, who preceded her in death on April 28, 2007.
Surviving are her two daughters and their husbands, Linda and Frank Marks of Midland, VA and Barbara and Gary Marks of Bealeton, Va; four sisters, two brothers; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held 2:00 Tuesday, April 13, 2010, at the Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton with Pastor Shaw Henson officiating. Burial will follow at Elk Run Cemetery in Elkton.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Monday at the funeral home.
