Garland Lee Brown, 78, of Shenandoah, passed away Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010, at the University of Virginia Medical Center.
Mr. Brown was born Dec. 24, 1931, in Page County, and was the son of the late Martin W. and Lena Harlow Brown. He was also preceded in death by three brot hers and two sisters.
He had been self employed and enjoyed country music, gardening and watching butterflies. He also had several pets, which he enjoyed very much, Che

Survivors include three sisters, Gail Brown Sampson and Margaret Brown, both of Shenandoah, and Norma Jean Atkins of Elkton; nephew and caregiver, Kim W. Brown; and numerous nephews and nieces.
A memorial service will be held 4pm Saturday February 27, 2010 at Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton.
