Joshua Lee Madison, 20, of Elkton, died Jan. 23, 2010, from injuries he received from an automobile accident.
Mr. Madison was born Nov. 26, 1989, in Harrisonburg, and was the son of Earl Lee Madison II of Elkton and Cathy Cockrell Madison of McGaheysville.
He was a 2008 graduate of Spotswood High School and enjoyed riding dirt bikes, hunting and fishing and spending time with his friends. He most recently had worked for Select Staffing in Harrisonburg.
Besides his parents, he is survived by a sister, Nichole Madison; paternal grandparents, Earl and Margaret Madison of Reedville; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010, at the Harrisonburg First Church of the Nazarene. Pastor Kerry Willis will conduct the service. Burial will follow in the Elk Run Cemetery in Elkton.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton. Friends may also call at the home of his mother at any time.
