Betty and I recently learned of the passing of Mrs. Monger and we wish to send
our condolences. We were unable to attend her funeral to pay our respects
having been out of town at the time of her death. Mr. Monger hired me as
Principal of Pearl Sample School in 1972 and both he and Mrs. Monger were like
family while they were in Culpeper. We enjoyed their companionship very much.
They spoke of there two sons, Gary and Steve often and were proud of their
accomplishments. When there grandchildren came along they couldn't of been
happier They loved you all dearly and we will, although we didn't see them
often, miss the two of them.
