Great Aunt Edna
May the many wonderful memories you shared with your mom, grandma, and great
grandma warm your hearts during your sorrow. I visited Aunt Edna and Grandma
Shirey with my mom, Helen and my daughter, Haylee over Thanksgiving and we had a
good visit talking about the Valley family happenings. Aunt Edna alway beemed
when talking about her family. She was a strong Christian woman and devoted to
her family, church and community and those special sisters. An outstanding cook
too! About 5 or 6 years ago, I can remember stopping by Grandma Shirey's late
one evening before seeing my parents. I hadn't been in the farm house more than
10 minutes and the phone rang. Grandma told me it was nice we stopped by and
Edna was on the phone. I got tickled and knew they needed to catch up on the
day. I exited with my girls and smiled and imagined how those sisters shared
and supported each other often through the years along with Aunt Goldie and Aunt...

To The Diehl Family
It was such a privilege to be able to assist in caring for Mrs. Diehl while she
was at RMH. I'm certain she'd be proud of the love her family showed in caring
for her needs. I wish you all much comfort. You have been in my thoughts. If you
ever need an ear, my line is always open! :)
