Terry Michael \"Tex\" Dean, 56, of Alexandria, passed away Monday, Oct. 26, 2009, at his home in Alexandria.
Mr. Dean was born Jan. 17, 1953, in Page County, and was the son of the late Edward Earl \"Eddie\" Dean, Sr. and Myrtle Mae Yager Dean.
Mr. Dean is survived by four brothers, Eddie Earl Dean Jr. and Gregory Lynn Dean, both of Alexandria, and Richard Allen Dean of Woodbridge and Robert Orsinger; one daughter, Michelle Harrison; four nephews, George Hopkins, Kris Walker, John and Nicholas Dean; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 2 o\'clock Sunday afternoon, Nov. 1, 2009, at the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Shenandoah with the Rev. Gerald Meeks and the Rev. Mike Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at the Elk Run Cemetery in Elkton.
The family will receive friends Saturday, Oct. 31, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton.
