Timothy Lee Comer, 36, of Shenandoah, passed away Monday, Oct. 19, 2009, at his home with his mother by his side after being diagnosed in 2005 with cancer. He was in remission until 2007.
Tim was born Feb. 4, 1973, in Rockingham County, and was the son of Dorothy J. Comer of Shenandoah and the late James Lee Comer.
He was a custodian for the Page County school system and liked to work on cars and talk on his C.B. radio.
Besides his mother, he is survived by fiance, Amy Clements of Shenandoah; a sister, Angela Pence and husband, Jason, of Stanley; nephew, Chase Pence; niece, Jaden Pence; and numerous extended family.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 23, 2009, at the Kyger Funeral Home Chapel in Elkton with the Rev. Matt Homer and the Rev. L.D. Savage officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Lebanon Cemetery in Shenandoah.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton. Friends may also call at the Comer home at any time.
