Joyce Gail McDonaldson, 70, of Elkton, passed away Sept. 13, 2009.
Ms. McDonaldson was born March 30, 1939, in Rockingham County, and was a daughter of the late Aubrey and Beulah M. Campbell Mowbray.
Survivors include a son, Anthony L. McDonaldson of Elkton; two daughters, Karen D. Sites of Grottoes and Kimberly A. Hemp and companion, Ronnie Campbell, of Weyers Cave; four sisters, Audrey Jones of Datil, N.M, Gwendolyn Besendorfer of Dillwyn, Va., Betty Hopkins of Greenville, S.C., and Shirley Hammer of Elkton; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a companion, Stanford Eugene Shifflett.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Elk Run Cemetery in Elkton with Pastor James Kite officiating.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton.
