Sheila Kay Sions, 45, of Elkton, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at her residence.

Miss Sions was born on Feb. 1, 1964, in Singers Glen, and was the daughter of Carl and Patsy Kibbler Morris.

Sheila attended the Full Gospel Lighthouse Tabernacle in Elkton and also worked as a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Larissa Painter and husband, Terry, of Grottoes, and Shawna Sions of Camp Pendleton, Calif.; one brother, Mark Morris of Harverson, Del.; one sister, Vicky Shoemaker of Lacey Spring; and one grandson, Gabriel Sions; and boyfriend, Patrick Bunting. 

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, June 27, 2009, at 2 p.m. at the Kyger Funeral Home in Harrisonburg with the Revs. Homer Frazier and Ronald Spencer officiating.  Burial will follow at the Mount Olivet Cemetery in McGaheysville.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Larissa and Shawna, I am very sorry to hear about your mother, she was a good friens to me and I know dhe loved you both more than words can ever express. I remember the first time I met her she was someone special that I was proud to call her friend, on that first meeting was when I got her that first tattoo, boy was she proud of it.
