Darlene E. Girgas, a resident of Bristol, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at Lower Bucks Hospital at the age of 36. She was the loving wife of Andrew J. Girgas.
Born in Richmond, Va., a daughter of Betty Davis and the late Donald E. Davis, Darlene was a lover of life, family and friends.
In addition to her husband and mother, Darlene is survived by her children, Emily Grey Girgas and Andrew John Girgas; a sister, Dawn Purdue; two brothers, Daryl and Devon Davis; father and mother-in-law, John E. and Marie R. Girgas; sisters and brother-in-law, Valerie Szczepanski, Teresa Harmon and John Girgas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 22, 2009, at 11 a.m. at the Kyger Funeral Home Chapel in Elkton with Pastor Nona Allen officiating. Burial will follow at the Elk Run Cemetery in Elkton.
Relatives and friends are invited to share in Darlene's Life Celebration on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. (one hour prior to service) at the Kyger Funeral Home Chapel in Elkton.
