Elliott Jerail Oliver, 35, of Harrisonburg, Va., died unexpectedly Wednesday, June 17, 2009, at his home.
He is survived by his wife, Cristy; one son, Kendrick; one daughter, Victoria; parents, John and Victoria R. Oliver of Statesville, N.C.; sister, Maenikkia Peay and husband, James; aunt, Kasandra Johnson; uncles, Bernard Robertson and wife, Jackie, of Statesville, N.C., Sylvester Robertson Jr. and wife, Kathy, of Mooresville, N.C., and Alex Robertson and wife, Ginger, of Hickory, N.C.
Elliott graduated from North Iredoll High School and attended Haywood Technical Community College, Mitchell Community College, Hairstylist Academy and was a volunteer fireman at Wayside Volunteer Fire Department.
The family will receive friends 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 18, 2009, at the Kyger Funeral Home in Harrisonburg.
