Rosemary Anna Streb, 84, of Harrisonburg, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2009, at the Sunnyside Presbyterian Nursing Home in Harrisonburg. 

Mrs. Streb was born on Aug. 5, 1924, in Rochester, N.Y., and was the daughter of the late Charles and Caroline Meier Laurer.

Rosemary graduated from Brockport University in Rochester with a degree in Education. She retired after teaching for 25 years for both Rochester and Long Island School systems. Rosemary was a dedicated volunteer for many organizations and was also a gifted quilter.

On June 29, 1958, she married Richard W. Streb, who preceded her in death in November of 2007.

Rosemary is survived by her daughter, Rosanna McMillan and her husband, James, of Lexington, Va.; and two grandchildren, Courtney and James McMillan. 

A memorial service will be held at the Meredith Chapel of Sunnyside Presbyterian Nursing Home with the Revs. Paul O

Dear Rosanna and Jim, I was so sorry to learn of your mother\'s passing from my Aunt Joan Wigg. I send deepest sympathy and thoughts of comfort for you and your family from the Calvin Hansis family (Rosemary\'s nephew). Sincerely, Lynn Hurley P.S.
