Nancy and Sharon and family,
I taught you two at Pleasant Valley in 3rd grade
many years ago. I remember your dad as a very nice, caring person. I am sorry
to hear of your loss. I hope you both are doing well in life; I'm sure you are
since you were such good students.

Our son, Bob Moore, rented his college home from John and Janet. We met them
through the RMH Wellness Ctr. We appreciated their efforts in keeping Bob on
the straight path as he ventured out on his own. We are sorry for your loss.

Jan and family,
It was quite a shock to see John's obit. today. I had no
idea he was ill. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. It has been my pleasure to
get to know you both at the Wellness Center and I know John will be missed. My
prayers are with you during this difficult time. Love, Glenda

Dear Mrs. Dieckmann and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. I did not
know Mr. Dieckmann well but I do have some memories of him. I remember him as
being intelligent, kind, gentle, soft-spoken and good-humored. I am very glad
that I will always have those memories of such a genuinely lovely
person.
Thinking of you.

Dear Jan and family:
So saddened by the news of John's passing and will bring
the "laminated" copy of his obit to Church one Sunday soon. We have
missed his voice in choir and now it will no longer be heard. But know he is
"singing with the angels." We will miss the Memorial Service today due
to work and a Dr. appointment. Will be with you in spirit! Lots of Love, Judy
and Roger

Dear Dieckman Family:

We are so saddened by the news of John's passing. We
have missed him in the choir and now his voice will no longer be heard. Wish we
could be at Memorial Service today, but I am working and Roger has a Dr.
appointment at same time as service. Cut out the obit and will have it
laminated and either send to you or bring it to church this Sunday. All our
best to whole family....Judy and Roger

Judy and Family,

I am sorry to hear of the loss of your father. I have many
fond memories of sleep overs at your house when we were little girls. My best
to you, your mom and sisters.

Jan, Sharon, Nancy, Judy and Family,

I’m sorry for your loss. I have
countless fond memories of John, as a result of spending many hours at your home
while in high school and college. John was always quick with a witty comment, a
chuckle, or a raised brow, when needed! He was always approachable but
obviously incredibly intelligent, highly educated, and very dedicated to both
family and career. We’re all fortunate for having spent true quality time
with him, and he will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Nancy and I are heartsick for your loss, but we have so many wonderful memories
of our shared youthful days so long ago during the early Space Conditioning and
Harrisonburg years. John's generous, helpful and intelligent guidance at the
office and the social hospitality you both shared with us will be cherished
forever. The Spottswood parties, your backyard cookouts and John's rendition of
"Archibaldis Holebroke will remain with us always.
Our love and best
wishes to you all.
