Ronnie and Larry,

I am very sorry to hear about your mom's passing. I
remember the times we played little league, went to elementary and high school
together and how we used to car pool, etc. You mom was always very good to
Gerald and me.
My prayers are with you during this time. Always remember the
good times and how now she will be a guardian angel for you both.

I'm sure many people think it's crazy for a guy in his twenties to buy a house
amongst a group of senior citizens. It's actually been a fun experience for the
most part. Lots of friendly conversations, the occasional homemade chicken pot
pie delivery and constant reminders of the fond feelings I felt for some of my
relatives who have now passed.

I knew when I moved in four years ago that I
would likely say some unexpected goodbyes to my neighbors--or not even get the
chance to say goodbye.

Agnes was a good neighbor. I'm glad I got to know
her.

I'll remember her as the "nosy" neighbor who kept me informed
about all that went on in the neighborhood, sat out in her driveway in the
summer evenings chatting with friends, and--this will make you laugh--as the
girl whose boyfriend still visited everyday.

I'll miss her. You're all in my
thoughts.

Ronnie,
I'm very sorry to hear about the passing of your Mother. Even though
I've been away for "ages", I still fondly remember my classmates,
especially from McGaheysville Elementry. My heart goes out to you and your
family. May she rest in the loving hands of the Lord.
