Chrystal Page Forbes, 62, of Harrisonburg, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2009, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg.  Ms. Forbes was born in Staunton on Dec. 5, 1946, and was a daughter of the late Don Parker and Camilla Crummett Forbes.

Chrystal was a devoted mother and friend.  She dearly loved her children, grandchildren and animals.  Chrystal was a talented writer and public speaker, who also enjoyed flowers and gardening.  She had a passion for volunteer work and helping others.

Surviving family includes three sons, Russell
