Lois Louise Eppard, 82, of Elkton, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2009, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg.
Mrs. Eppard was born July 18, 1926, in Rockingham County and was the daughter of the late Harry Lee and Lottie Rebecca Hensley Dean. On Dec. 22, 1944, she married Shirley Omar Eppard, who preceded her in death April 28, 2001. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Barry L. Eppard, and two sisters, Blanche Dean and Genevieve Sillmon.
She was a lifelong resident of the area, a graduate of Elkton High School and a member of the Blue Ridge Independent Church in Elkton. Her husband Shirley owned Eppard
