Lola Miller Golden, 58, of Harrisonburg, passed away on Monday, Jan. 19, 2009, at the Rockingham Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Golden was born Dec. 10, 1950, in Luray, and was the daughter of the late Ernest Hoover and Groveen Cloud Miller.

Lola worked for Cargill for 28 years before her retirement. She was also a member of the Harrisonburg Eagles No. 4150 Ladies Auxiliary and the Harrisonburg Moose Lodge No. 1320, where she liked to help out as much as she could.

On March 1, 1991, she married Robert L.

Let me start with saying, how thankful I am for going by to see Aunt Lola over Christmas. We got the news over Thanksgiving that she her health was failing and going to see her while we were in for the Holidays was top priority. Her spirits were high and smile was just what I will always remember. I have a great picture of her from the visit if anyone in the family would like me to email.
