What a wonderful man and such a tragic loss. Bill was a great person to be around and work with at Massanutten Ski Resort. He will be deeply missed by all. A jolly man always in the best of spirits. My deepest sympathy goes out to your family. We are naming the top of Lift 6 shack where Bill Always worked for 10 years \"Heinemann\'s Hideout\" this will remain for as long as the resort. With love from his family at the Lift Office at Massanutten Ski Resort.

Bill was a man of great energy and enthusiasm for life. I worked for Bill in the Old Dominion District for several years and very much enjoyed his support and friendship and his love of life. I will miss him greatly. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Heinemann family.

Dear Heinemann family,
We are all grieving with you in the sudden loss of our beloved and delightful board member at People Helping People. Bill was so cheerful in the years he served with us, always encouraging and confident that we could find more ways to help God's people in need. We are grateful for the many ways he helped to carry this work forward, including his hosting our last annual meeting at the lovely facilities of Massanutten Presbyterian Church. Bill will be remembered often as we continue the work he so vigorously supported. Thank you for sharing his energy and abundant good will with us these past few years.

board president for People Helping People.

There are no appropriate words to describe the loss we feel. Our dear friend of 46 years has left us behind as he journeys to greener pastures. We will always count our blessings that we had Bill Heinemann in our lives. His zest for life, continual up-beat, positive attitude, was contageous. You couldn't help but be uplifted by the "sunshine" he put into our lives even on the cloudiest of days. Sharon, we LOVE you and will always be there for you. You and Bill have meant so much to us that the shock of Bill's death will linger forever with us.

To Sharon and other close family Members:
Boll was our close friend and (with Sharon) a very tough competitor at both duplicate and party bridge...I will always remember Bill greeting me and my partner in this manner: "Jim, great to see you this morning, Ralph, not so much"...if he didn't greet me with something like that on Tuesday morning I'd think something was wrong. He joined the Football Pool that I run a couple of years ago and that was another topic that he and I kidded one another about as his beloved Vikings either triumphed or fell...Mimi and I will miss him a lot.

Dear Sharon and Family,
My condolences to you and your family. I also worked for Bill at Xerox in Old Dominion. He was the best District Service Manager I've ever worked for. His goal, our goal, was Customer Service. That was a great lesson I carry with me every day. On a personal level he was a man of character and I'll always thank him for going above and beyond the call of duty to help others, and myself through a difficult time. My wife and I have great admiration for him, he was the life of the party and it was contagious! He touched so many lives in the most positive ways. We will forever remember him! Our thoughts and prayers, to you and your family.
