I am so sorry for your loss. I enjoyed taking care of your father very much when
I worked up at the Highlands as a nurse. He enjoyed my daughters coming in
(Heather and Lauren). He was always so happy and willing to help anybody. I left
Sunnyside in 2005 but I remember him so fondly. You are in my thoughts and
prayers.

Blessings,

Jenny Gibson

I have great memories of Dave (Mr. Turner to me) from our church youth group and
Sunday school. Dave and Drucie were always full of energy and
\"cool\" ideas of how to keep young folks interested in church
and out of trouble. Dave taught all the guys how a car works and how to keep
them operating. He built a VW dune buggy in his garage and let us help him work
on it in turn for a ride around the neighborhood.
Will always remember him
in the showroom of Highway Motors....the consumate enthiusiastic salesman. He
had a gift of kindness and humility. He never met a stranger. Dave was a prudent
man...I could never understand why he wouldn\'t let a 16 year old test drive
the shiny 1970 426 Hemi Cuda. Today, I completely understand! He was a wise
man.
I will always have good memories of Dave.

My condolences to Nan and
Andy. Rest assured he has received his healing and is rejoicing with your Mom
ag...

Dave Turner was a fine man. He was a client of mine when I was a young radio
advertising salesman. I\'ll never forget the \"magic\" door
on his office that he would release with a switch on his desk so it would slam
closed as you entered. As a fellow member of the Harrisonburg Kiwanis Club,
Dave was always ready with a joke or a laugh. He was a true gentleman of the
old school and will be missed. My sincere condolences to Andy and the rest of
the family.

Mr. Turner was my first boss. I started working for Highway Motors after
graduation. I believe we had the cleanist car shop in the county. He was
always a pleasant person and loved to joke around. Nan and Andy, you have my
heartfelt sympathy.

Nan,
I was sorry to learn about your father's passing. I so enjoyed his energy
when my Dad and he were in the Terrace at the same time. I recall him sharing a
book with my son Brent when we were visiting Dad. I hope your pets will be of
special comfort to you knowing how fond you are of animals.

We are so grieved by your loss, as we so looked forward to seeing him regularly
at Sunnyside. In fact, it's our loss too. He seemed to enjoy Lacey, and we
both enjoyed him so much (you too, Nan!) Please know how much we love you both,
and will miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, and we will keep you
in our hearts and minds.

David was a wonderful person...so full of cheer and a smile for everyone. I
still remember my father dealing with Dave at Highway Motors and always said
that Dave was so honest in his business. We will miss him and his jovial
outgoing approach to all he met. He never knew a stanger. We wish God's
blessings on Nan and Andy.

Nan, I am so very sorry to hear of your Dad's death. He was such a fun and
caring person and he is very fortunate to have had your care and companionship
these last couple of years. I KNOW that he was very proud of you and I can only
imagine your sense of loss.
I do agree with Robert, I'll bet there is one heck
of a wild party going on in heaven!

I am so sorry for your loss. I'm Lorraine Kersh Bosserman. I babysat for David
& Drucie's children when I was going to H. H. School. They were so nice to me.
Always had good snacks for me & Drucie gave me some beautiful dresses I could
never have bought on my own. I remember them both fondly. Lorraine Bosserman,
Staunton, Va.

We want to express our sincere sympathy to the family of Mr. Turner. Charles
worked at Highway Motors for 33 years and knew the family well. We trust that
in the days and weeks ahead God will be with each one of you bringing you peace

I have many fond memories of both Mr. and Mrs. Turner! I remember how they had
so much energy, were always in good spirits, and loved life. One, still very
vivid, memory I had was when I went before the Session in order to become a
member of First Presbyterian Church. I was asked a simple question, but froze
when it came time to answer. I can remember Mr. Turner slowing shaking his head
to give me the correct answer! The world just lost a very special person; yet,
we can rejoice that he has completed his life's journey and has gone to be with
his Maker!

Andy and Nan ... like so many others who have written, I too remember your dad
very fondly. It was always my pleasure to wait on him when he came to DMV.
Such a small world when we both realized I had graduated from high school with
his daughter and was neighbors with his son. He always had a smile and a kind
word. He will be missed by all. Please know that you both have our deepest
sympathy and are in our hearts and prayers. Martha & Richard Kelly

Nan and Andy, I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I have many fond memories

Dear Nan, David & Bunny,

My deepest sympathies at your father's passing. I
unfortunately never knew him but I read above of all the fine comments from
others that did. I hope you are dealing well with your loss. Nan, I know you
provided him with the finest of care in these last tough years and I am so glad
that someone as kind, loving, bubbly, and enthusiastic as you are could be there
to see him through it.

In God's Love to you all,

Chris Grandle
