Gladys Voorhees McCoy, 82, of Henderson, Ky., died Thur sday, Sept. 18, 2008, at her home in Kentucky. She was born Feb. 10, 1926, in Elkton, Va., and was the daughter of the late Walter and Drusilla Dofflemyer Voorhees. She was preceded in death by her brother, W.C. Voorhees Jr.
Gladys was a homemaker, a world traveler, avid bridge player, and loved to bowl. She was a member of the Bethel United Church of Christ in Elkton and an active participant at the Fairview General Baptist Church in Henderson, Ky. She will be sadly missed by her family and her adoring dog, Lucy, whom she called
