James Delano Baugher, 63, of Elkton, died Monday, Aug. 4, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Baugher was born May 26, 1945, in the Sandy Bottom area of Rockingham County, and was the son of Virginia Williams Baugher of Elkton and the late James Lewis Baugher. Besides his father, Mr. Baugher was preceded in death by a brother, Gary W. Baugher.

Delano attended the Sandy Bottom School and had attended the Sandy Bottom Mennonite Church in his youth.

To the Baugher Family, My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. For many years when I was growing up, your family seemed like a part of my family and I cherish the memories. It is with regret that I was unable to attend the service/family night as I was out of town that day and didn\'t find out about it until I read the newspaper, after the fact.
