Barbara Orebaugh Reyes, 68, of Broadway, died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008, at her home.

Mrs. Reyes was born March 5, 1940, in Rockingham County, and was the daughter of the late Pasco and Reta Orebaugh.

She graduated from Broadway High School and was a member of Broadway Presbyterian Church. She was a homemaker.

On May 9, 1992, she married Enrique Reyes, who survives.

She is also survived by a son, Kevin High; three daughters, Mari Baber, Christine Heishman, and Ella Watson; four stepchildren, Enrique Reyes Jr., Eloy Reyes Sr., Thomas Reyes Sr., and Esperanza Ortiz; a brother, Bruce Orebaugh; five grandchildren, 10 stepgrandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were pending Friday night at Kyger Funeral Home in Harrisonburg.

	We were so sorry to hear of Barbara's death. She was our classmate at Broadway High. We were hoping to see her at our 50th reunion on October 4th. Our deepest sympathies to Barbara's family and friends.

	Henry  Mari, Kevin, Christine, Ella and families,    I first remember \"our Barbara\"...beautiful with long curls, in her new fur coat when she was around 5 years old! My twin, Jean and I quickly became close friends and we remained so for 63 years! We\'ve had some wonderful times together, especially since Henry and she moved back to Virginia,  I loved her and I know she loved us!! 	I greatly enjoyed working with Barbara (and Henry) on 3 east. I will truly miss having her as a patient. She was such a joy to talk to and get to know. She was one patient that actually made me excited to come to work! It gives me great joy to know that she did know about Christ and is now having a wonderful eternity! I will be praying for you Henry, and for the rest of Barbara's family and friends as well.
