Andrew Richard Lahman, 41, of Elkton, died Friday, June 27, 2008, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital of cancer.

Andy was born Sept. 5, 1966, in Harrisonburg, and was the son of Richard Allen and Betty Williams Lahman of Elkton.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his fiancée, Lisa Fisher and her children, Christopher, Cesar and Gabriela Morales; a brother, Brent Allen Lahman of Greeley, Colo.; two sisters, Cynthia Lahman Smith of Ashburn, Va., and Diana Lahman DiBiase of Reston, Va.; and paternal grandmother, Evelyn Lahman of Elkton.

The family will receive friends Monday (today) June 30, 2008, at 5 p.m. and following a memorial service at 7 p.m. at the Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton. Pastor Wayne Taylor will conduct the service. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

	To all the Lahmans - it's been many years since we talked but the fondest of memories of hanging out with your family, our kids being together, sharing different perspectives on the world still are with me. My sympathies in your loss, but Andy and the example he set, is our gain.

	Andy was a good friend of Steve and Myself. He was a friend of mine when I was going threw some rough time\'s he listened to me and we talked about everything he was even the reason I meet Steve. Thanks Andy for being a part of my life. I was lucky to have meet a special person like you. Steve and myself will miss you deeply. I know the family will miss him, just think about his smile, and how we were blessed to know a special person like Andy

	I'll miss that great smile. He was a wonderful person. Every time I see or hear a tractor I think of him.. I know he is watching over us.
