Andrew Richard Lahman, 41, of Elkton, died Friday, June 27, 2008, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital of cancer.

Andy was born Sept. 5, 1966, in Harrisonburg, and was the son of Richard Allen and Betty Williams Lahman of Elkton.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his fiancée, Lisa Fisher and her children, Christopher, Cesar and Gabriela Morales; a brother, Brent Allen Lahman of Greeley, Colo.; two sisters, Cynthia Lahman Smith of Ashburn, Va., and Diana Lahman DiBiase of Reston, Va.; and paternal grandmother, Evelyn Lahman of Elkton.

The family will receive friends Monday (today) June 30, 2008, at 5 p.m. and following a memorial service at 7 p.m. at the Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton. Pastor Wayne Taylor will conduct the service. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

	Lisa & family my thoughts and prayers are with you. I've known Andy most of my life, he was a wonderful person in so many ways. He always had a smile on his face when he would see you, he never met a stranger. He will be missed by so many. GOD bless you and all the family.

	My thoughts and prayers go out to Lisa, the children and to the Lahman family, Having known Andy for all of my life, and considering him as one of my best friends, will truly miss seeing him and the smile that he always displayed. Have such great memories with Andy all though life. He was always ready to lend me a hand when every I needed one, Just wish I could have returned more of the favors. He was a special person that cared for other people, as he displayed for my mom, even in his last days. Forever in my thoughts, sadly missed.

I didn't see him often, but when I did he always had a smile on his face and a kind word to say. I will never forget that contageous smile. May you find comfort in the number of lives he touched. 	The first thing you noticed about Andy was his mischievous smile. You knew he was someone you wanted to hang around. He was a shoulder to cry on and a friend who could make you smile. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. He will be greatly missed.
